More About Iphi 'Africa

•Iphi ‘Africa project is a community based project operating from Swaziland.
The formation of the project was a result of a creative workshop on women and child trafficking conducted in Swaziland. It was also due to the ever increasing need to identify artistic talent, training and offering of a professional platform for children and young artists to express themselves.

•Since its inception the strength of the organization has been its ability to promote collaborations among artists from different places. Through its workshops the organisation has trained quite a number of artists of which some have moved forward to establish their own companies.
• While others have been retained to work as performers/ trainers in Iphi ‘Africa’s theatrical productions and workshops.

•The organization is run from a Community based project approach and survives through local donations. It also generates income through conducting theatre skills training workshops for Non Governmental Organizations and schools as well as through commissioned theatre performances.
